Gasoline consumption per hour of operation of the engines depending on their power and the speed at which they are operated. Per hour we calculate a consumption of around 0,25 litres per horse power for gasoline. If two 370 horse power diesels of a cabin cruiser are activating all their hp at full, they need over 150 liters per hour. That translates into a consumption of 4,3 litres per nautic mile or over 200 litres per 100 kilometer over a distance of 35 nautical miles per hour.
